Dear European Union,

Give every weapon in the arsenal of democracy to the Armed Forces of #Ukraine and end the russian terror regime.

The russian hacker group KillNet is threatening a large-scale cyberattack in the #EU – rosZMI.

It is threatening to be the first to cripple #French infrastructure. According to the hackers, they have allegedly developed a new "network weapon" that could isolate the country for months.

This is not a typical DDoS attack, but a "digital apocalypse" – potentially leading to the complete failure of devices.

KillNet's threat should be taken seriously, as the group has been capable of conducting limited but disruptive cyberattacks in the past. However, the claimed "digital apocalypse" involving months of isolation and device failures is technically unlikely and sounds like an exaggeration aimed at propaganda.

Apple anunció sus resultados correspondientes al tercer trimestre fiscal de 2025, finalizado el 28 de junio, con ingresos totales de 94,000 millones de dólares, lo que representa un crecimiento interanual del 10%. Las ganancias por acción diluida (EPS) se ubicaron en 1.57 dólares, un aumento del 12% en comparación con el mismo periodo del año anterior.

El crecimiento fue impulsado principalmente por el buen desempeño en las ventas de iPhone, Mac y, especialmente, por los servicios, que alcanzaron un récord histórico en ingresos.

Years ago, I took note of all the great things #radiofreefedi was doing for the Fediverse. Seeing this recent "blast from the past" streams has also been wonderful. When the New Years 24-hour stream parade event happened, I was inspired.

It took a couple years, but I wanted to try to help those creatives working to create content that I've found joy from. What came from that was this. In the same spirit of radioFreeFedi's live stream event, this is just a volunteer event with the goal of trying to help people find and build connections with other, real people, outside the control of big social.

Ich stimme Cory Doctorow in seiner Analyse zu 100% zu: Wir können die Arschlochisierung (engl. #enshittification nicht allein bekämpfen. (Ein #Fediverse Account ist ja schon n toller Start, aber er reicht nicht).

Richtig wichtig wird es, sich politisch zu wehren. Mit Kartell- und -Datenschutzgesetzen, die auch durchgesetzt werden.
