In tanti mi avete detto "belli i tuoi video, ma finché sono su YouTube non li guardo, troppa pubblicità". Ed è vero.
Da gennaio di quest'anno ho creato @viaggiatore_tv, il canale #Peertube su una piattaforma autogestita che... Beh, sì, ha anche un costo per il mantenimento.
I video sono li, senza pubblicità.
Ma non ci sono visualizzazioni.
Perché?
Forse la natura libera del #Fediverso non ha fatto circolare abbastanza la notizia.

Everything looks like it's working because you're viewing it from your own network. You need to check to make sure that it can be viewed in other places around the world.
Everyday I get follow requests on my PeerTube instance from people where I can't even see their content because their home internet is so fucking slow.

@troed Yep, I've been trying to find a pathway off YouTube to #peertube but I watch predominately on a Nvidia Shield set top box. It runs Kodi & Jellyfin just fine, so it dawned on me that maybe through an addon it would work. Seems there are a few Github projects that folks have done in the past, and Kodi have this featured:
