After I implemented "entities dropping loot" I noticed that the "total draw calls" were nearly as high as the "total objects drawn". (3000 calls for 3000 objects)
After some experimentation I found the problem. Mixing Polygon2D and Sprite2D prevented #godot 4.5b4 from batching either.
I tested it with and without "y sorting" and manual setting of the "z index".
After removing the polygon shadow and baking it into the texture the draw calls are at ~30 for ~3000 objects.

Where should I store the "recipe" for what to make? The hut, or the Worker?
Currently, they are Set (a Blacksmith makes Tools from Iron and Coal, a Baker makes Meals from Food and Coal), but I'll be expanding, and allowing for options
Workers are fixed to their hut, so I'm not sure it matters, unless I introduce changing Workers (lack of people, re-assigning, etc), so maybe on the Hut?

Today the idiot opening all the Mastodon Verify scam accounts opened one here, which lasted 5 minutes.
Let's compare notes.
I went through the Cloudflare logs and the IP address that opened and used the account was 81.102.80.122 -- Virgin Media in England. The ASN is NTL which is an ISP and not a VPN.
They passed the Cloudflare captcha so it wasn't a bot that signed up.

Project reveal:
For the past couple of weeks, I was working on a modern Ansible connection plugin for FreeBSD Jails: jailexec.py
It utilizes the SSH connection to the host-system and jexec to execute Ansible automation within FreeBSD jails.
Makes it even possible to automate jails, that aren't reachable via SSH themselves (or even have no IP address).
Bonus features:
- Connection pooling and persistence for improved performance
- Efficient file transfer with proper permission handling
- Jail command execution via jexec with privilege escalation (doas/sudo)
- Comprehensive error handling and logging with multiple log-levels (-v -vv and -vvv)
After some polishing and testing, I will publish that under a BSD 2-Clause license on my Codeberg repositories and GitHub (Likely during the weekend)

I have seen arguments that the "D" is also capitalised, and that nobody would count the words, but the fact that it's gone viral demonstrably refutes that.
Have you ever seen a Q-Anon analysis of every random innocent post or read anything at all by a Flat-Earther or "Revelations Scholar"? They follow every symbolism possible, and when they are bored with that, they follow the impossible ones too.
