My home self-hosted stuff in the basement. Virtualization by free ESXi 8.
Running #Nas #Xmpp #Matrix #Pihole and several other services. Also physical router exchanged with virtual one by #Mikrotik #CHR .
Powered by online #UPS on which the default 7Ah batteries was removed and new, 38Ah connected. Autonomous power more than 12 hours. The fiber optic line is powered by ISP themselves from their DC, so still there is Internet when no main power.

Experimenting with baked lighting and transparency in Godot. The most ideal settings I could find were a little underwhelming, either making everything with 50% alpha or greater solid, and anything below transparent. Tried making two slightly overlapping hemispheres (red and blue) to make purple light, but the two overlapping transparent meshes seems to result in no transparency, but you can see on the ambient walls that the bounce lighting is adequately violet.

When I find a new open source project, my first impulse is to find the actual source code and take a look. With a small one, it's not a problem, I probably found it through GitHub or whatever already. With a project big enough to have a website promoting it... The link is usually weirdly hard to find. It's so odd. On some corporate-backed project websites your best bet is to look for the GitHub icon next to the social media ones, which… Like, why???

- Accelerate Far Eastern missile defense (S-500, coastal Bastion systems).

Guten Morgen beste Timeline auf Mastodon nee, im #Fediverse ​:fediverse:​

Heute letzter Urlaubstag und der wird mehr Mut Packen und Fahren verbracht. So sit das leider, wenn der Urlaub sich dem Ende nähert.

Wobei, letzter Tag stimmt auch nicht. Morgen müssen wir noch mal den ganzen Tag Auto fahren, um zu Hause anzukommen. Heute noch mal England, morgen dann Niederlande und Deutschland.

Gestern noch eine lange Wanderung ohne Kinder gemacht und zusammen dann, die letzte einkaufstour durch ein Sainsburys gemacht, um LEBENSNOTWENDIGE Dinge einzukaufen, die es bei uns nicht gibt.

In der Nacht hat UK schon geweint und Tränen vom Himmel fallen lassen. Gestern hatten wir noch mal 25 Grad u d ein Gebühren des Abschiedsessen, wie sich das gehört. Bei den Kindern gab es da überhaupt keine Diskussion 😉
Irgend wie haben wir die wohl infiziert 😁
Das ganze in einer der alten typische. chipie Buden, die wir selber so noch kennen von Früher und die immer seltener werden

Jetzt heißt es Familie aus den Schlafsäcken holen, Frühstück und dann aufräumen, packen und verladen.

That's the concern I have if I boost languages in my native language - that I spam the timeline of followers, with posts they do not understand.

Posts have a "language setting" - is it used for this? Or do posts/boosts in other languages get through?

Weder Sie noch ich, haben ausreichend Wissensstand, um die Lage europaweit wirklich einschätzen zu können. Ich glaube, viel Protest ergibt sich aus der Personalie #Trump. Bisher war es so, dass die #USA mehr Zölle in #Europa zahlen musste, als umgekehrt. Das dreht nun #Trump als #Dealmaker um. Sehr ärgerlich, aber "wir" haben die USA gerne als Wirtschaftspartner ausgenutzt. Die "Wende" war nur eine Frage der Zeit.
