Ja, @Sascha_Raubal - es gibt in der #Politikwissenschaft immer häufigere Stimmen, die (analog etwa zu #Frankreich) einen Zusammenbruch auch der meisten deutschen #Parteien zugunsten neuer Formate erwarten. @chefanbord fühlt das richtig.

Die europäische #Christdemokratie befindet sich bereits quer durch Europa in Auflösung, in der #Schweiz heißt die einstige C-Partei nur noch „die Mitte“ (mit Rechtsdrift). Das große Erbe von #SPD & auch @cdu halte ich jedoch für bewahrenswert & stehe dafür ein.

💭 Instagram for Creators, oficjalne konto Instagrama (warto je obserwować!), opublikowało infografikę, która wyjaśnia, jakie zadania pełnią poszczególne formaty na IG. Dodajcie sobie grafikę do Waszych read it later.

💭 Adam Mosseri, szef Instagrama (jego profil również warto śledzić), w sesji Q&A zdradził, że rolki edytowane w aplikacji Edits (klon CapCuta) mogą liczyć na „nieco większy boost” w algorytmie, w porównaniu z tymi edytowanymi w innych aplikacjach. Ale... jeśli najpierw zmontujesz film w innej aplikacji, a potem przepuścisz go przez Edits, ten boost nie będzie aktywny. Na ten moment trudno ocenić, czy to jedynie zabieg marketingowy, który ma przyciągnąć użytkowników do Edits, czy rzeczywista korzyść oferowana przez Instagram.

Wie sehr du im #ÖPNV ohne #DeutschlandTicket gearscht bist, merkt man, wenn Verwandte von außerhalb #Deutschland zu Besuch sind.

DT geht mangels Wohnsitz nicht. Einzelkarten sind relativ betrachtet sackteuer. Zeitkarten eigentlich auch überteuert (75€ fürs ganze Saarland).
Und über allem schwebt dann eben die Splitterung in unterschiedliche Betreiber und Regionen - du musst nämlich nicht meinen, mit deinem hübschen Wochenticket dann auch nur 10m ins angrenzende Bundesland zu kommen.

Thanks to SeaweedFS, I've set up two replicas of the BSD Cafe's media. One is on a backup server (for disaster recovery purposes only, also containing the hourly zfs-autobackup backups), and the other is on a Raspberry Pi 4 running FreeBSD, which is one of my home backup servers - just one meter away from my desk.
I've also configured Nginx in a jail, so when I'm at home, the BSD Cafe's media is served directly from the local replica.
The performance is lightning fast.

I found the place where I get to set the emoji of my choosing as the favicon, in #copyparty. I feel a sense of closure that finally I've gained familiarity with it. It took several days of casual tinkering and playing with it; that favicon customization felt like the "cherry on top", as it were. This is a great feature, IMHO! Make the favicon really easy to set! From a very wide range of choices.

Note: #Firefox in #linux shows the new copyparty favicon right away. #Fennec in #Android drags its heels noticing the new favicon - as the old one is cached, and is slow to expire. #Firefox and #Safari in #iPadOS? They snootily won't show any sort of favicon. 👎 I wish I had a nickel for every such occasion of such snootilence on my #iPad - which tends to disdain the "riff raff" nature of all that which is #OpenSource

Prof. Dennis-Kenji Kipker weist aber zurecht auf die hohlen Versprechen des transatlantischen Datenschutzrahmens hin. Während dem deutschen Staat pro Jahr c.a. 100 Milliarden durch Steuerbetrug entgehen, scheint es der vermeintlich christlichen CDU wichtiger zu sein hilfsbedürftige Menschen in einer schwierigen Lebenssituation zu drangsalieren, als diese Milliarden zum Wohl aller einzufordern. Das ist keine Frage der Realisierbarkeit, sondern eine des Willens zur Grausamkeit. Die SPD unterdessen arbeitet am Projekt 5%-Hürde.

Hi,

I’m looking for a #RaspberryPi solution to make my #mp3 library accessible by clients. I imagine a #Spotify-like solution, but based on my mp3 library (and #OpenSource of course).

So the Pi provides the lib, and clients (iOS) can search it, make playlists, stream it, ideally see nice album covers, …

I could not find anything, but cannot image that this does not exist.

Any pointer into a direction is appreciated, advanced #Linux skills exist.
